Personal Project

With our country’s leaders making huge decisions about climate and nature, now is the time to come together and demand that direct action is taken to protect our planet. There is so much at stake, so it is time to rebel.

This project is a visual concept and design for Rebel With A Cause – a toolkit for climate change, with a focus on conversation and action.

The core of the design stems from the spiked speech balloon. Which aims to encompass a sense of motion, rage, power and an idea bursting to life. Or simply a thought blooming into action. Conveying speech, but not necessarily the spoken word - encompassing all the ways you can ‘speak up’.

The toolkit aims to create a tangible object that gives young people a sense of control in the midst of a climate disaster. And can be used as a learning tool in schools and youth groups etc.

The kit consists of a booklet containing articles, information and speeches surrounding the current climate disaster and ways in which we can make a positive and direct impact on our government’s decisions.

Alongside the toolkit is a set of postcards, designed to spark conversation about climate change, and the ways in which we can rebel. Each card has a tear-away component where individuals are asked to answer the question how do you rebel?
